HAUNTED PLACES IN KARACHI - 1ST - KARSAZ ROAD MYSTERY - LAL KOTHI BUS STOP SHAHRAH E FAISAL KARACHI STORY BRIDE AT KARSAZ - DALMIA ROAD

THE BRIDE OF KARSAZ / DALMIA ROAD - THE UNRESOLVED MYSTERY OF KARSAZ ROAD AND LAL KOTHI - KARACHI

Many people have claimed to see a woman dressed up in bridal clothes on the road of Karsaz. On this road is the home of the Bride of Karsaz (haunted since 1960s). The rests in the middle of this patch of road, which people claim forever seems haunted. The bride’s home is a small insignificant graveyard. It is said that there is a jilted bride that awaits late-night travelers on the Dalmia road that connects Karsaz with Jauhar. If a traveler passes her while going home, something usually causes them to stop, and she appears as a beautiful woman dressed in bridal red. The stunning beauty waves as if she needs a ride or help and speaking a language no one seems to understand. As you look at her beautiful face, you will see it start to turn into something else, maggots begin to come out of her face and the hair on the back of your head will stand. Some say they have been chased by her screaming while others were able to flee without a sound. But one thing they all agree on is that after dark no one should travel on Dalmia Road alone, for the bride still awaits her groom.

More stories about Karsaz road Karachi:-

This incident has been reported by several people, and this incident has most logical explanations which however dates to the time when the road connecting karsaz with the jauher was however an under construction patched road, the road has a graveyard on its way and has the all famous bahria college. The exact name of the road is Dolmia road, to be exact its a patch of road about 2.5 to 3km in length (infront of the graveyard), a lot of people describe this road as haunted, before the mega construction of this road back in the year 2000, people used to avoid this patch of road because of the famous bride ghost so most of the time this road used to be deserted at night, nobody dared to travel from there alone.

STORY NO. 1:-

Abdul Rehman a local resident of the Gulshan e jauher tells one incident which there by happened with him, its not just the ordinary its the extraordinary the phenomena which lurks in our mind for when we hear the word Ghosts/Demons/Witches/Spirits.

Now what he tells is a remarkable tale, which gives the shiver and hair rising, Abdul Rehman an employee at a local school in clifton, worked till late due to a function on the next day at the school, he got off and unlocked his suzuki mehran car filled, on the way he filled up gas on the nearby gas station on the way, while crossing the sindhi muslim he thought of buying dinner for his family as there shops are open to the late night, it was 1:20am, after the food was purchased he rushed towards karsaz road as it was already late he didnt wanted to take a long turn from the gulshan e iqbal instead he took the dolmia road, the pitch black dolmia road all what could be seen was his car headlights and the lights throwing light on the road ahead, the road was pretty much unbearable for the tires, the car was not able to gain much speed and cross the unmetalled road, soon as he reached to the graveyard his left tire flattened and his car paced to the left making a sound as if of a motor so Abdul Rehman parked the car on the left and started taking out the spare wheel from the back of the car, to his suprise the graveyard was to his right and he could easily see the graves from where he was standing.

A man who was not scared easily so he remained calm and with much hardship changed the tire and now it was about 2:34am, while thinking about what children would be doing if they would be awake he saw something in blue flash by shivers got to his spine and his hairs stood, but he tried of thinking something else however to his much awaited doom he about 400 meters he saw a very beautiful girl dressed up in bridal red outfit with a fresh flower necklace and jewelry waving one hand as if she was in misery, Abdul Rehman after seeing the bride stopped as he thought she might need a lift but as soon as he stopped the bride was talking something which could not be understood not a word, and as soon as Abdul Rehman saw her face his hair on the hands stood as he frooze because the beautiful face eventually turned into one ugly face with maggots all over, just like a week old dead body it looked and smelled, he stood there but at that very last moment he pressed the accelerator to the full, however to find himself in a further grim situation while looking back in the rear view mirror he could see the bride running as fast as his car and screaming in some unknown language panic gripped and Abdul Rehman ended in hitting the side pavement of the road and fainted to be awaken by the people in the morning, he was rushed to the hospital as his car was badly damaged and he got injured... that was one tale More to come.

STORY NO. 2:- *** (Story No 2 looks more authentic)

The main Karsaz road in Karachi derives its name from the naval training facility located along its stretch, the gate of which forms one of the city’s landmarks. However, unlike its name, the road does not inherit its history from the naval forces; a history that legend now categories as a ghost tale.

Long ago (since 1960s), from a time when Karachi was a small city equivalent in size to the area covered by the city centre today, investors had explored the advantages of the absence of a green belt and started building houses on the outskirts. Like today, marriage lawns were a lucrative business in the times this tale was born. The outskirts at the time were big fields lacking any construction and therefore providing the landscape for marriage lawns.

It was one such marriage lawn on the outskirts where a wedding took place at the time our story starts. The newlywed couple was making its way back to the house located near Lal Kothi on Shahra-e-Faisal (one of the two exists now when it didn’t then; and one existed then and doesn’t now, as the vicissitudes (نشیب و فراز ۔ گردِش ۔ ایک حالت سے دُوسری حالت میں تبدیل ۔ تبدیلیاں) of time would have it). Weddings in those days ended real late and consequently the driver was high on sleep deprivation. The only clear route to the destination lay through the main Karsaz road.

The giddy couple was unaware of the consequences a drag, late night wedding would have on an all-day-working-hard-with-no-sleep driver as he rushed the car at high speed and rammed it straight into a pole; dying on the spot and avoiding any embarrassment at his sloppy behaviour. Though the crash and the screams are hard to reproduce, envision a scene with gore and blood spread all over; the crackling flames and the typical lone wheel cap emerging out of the debris to clatter noisily to its rest providing the only eulogy for the surely deceased couple.

It was from this scene, just as the camera was about to roll away to focus on a cat that had idled up to provide the necessary onlooker support, that a figure emerged from the burning debris. It was clad in red. Seriously. Clad in a red dress, the severely injured bride managed to pull herself out of the car wreck thankful that the blood matched her dress and hence the stains داغ دھبے were not noticeable. However this relief was only temporary as she found her groom counting his last breath.(which the author finds a rather sad use of suddenly finite mental resources as everyone knows it would always amount to 1) Desperate to save him she went to the main road and shouted for help, but at this hour there were minimal passersby and the cat was of little use . She tried and tried but couldn’t save her husband and in those final moments as the tears trickled down her cheeks, the life inside of her was claimed by Death.

STORY NO. 3:-

Karsaz road in Karachi is famous for a woman who used to haunt the car drivers and there are many witnesses of this incident at Karsaz Road. Many people have lost their lives because of that ghost woman. According to some people that woman was a dancer back in the 1960s who was murdered and left to be dead in the area which is now known as Karsaz Road. She request people to help her and then disappear. Many people saw her at midnight roaming around and haunting people who dare to stop their car just to have a look.

STORY NO. 4 (NEWSPAPER LINK IS AS UNDER):-

People saying that this is the the true story behind her. She was a ca-bare dancer back in the 60s who was raped and left for dead in the area which is now known as Karsaz. She kept asking for people to help her while she was bleeding to death, she died that night. But she kept appearing on the road after that asking for people to help her get home, people used to help her but also wanted to take her to a hospital. She used to make them go to her house which was known as the Lal Kothi, she used to make them wait outside so that she can bring money. But after going in she never used to come out, so the people used to ring the bell of the house to ask for her. Her poor father always used to answer the door and tell the poor guy that she died a long time back.

The shock and the fear of the incident used to kill the helper, many people died because of this, then the government of Pakistan asked some aalims to stop her. They (Alim-e-deen) used the teachings of Quran to form a hisaar (a boundary) on the specific patch of the Karsaz road (2.5 to 3 KM almost infront of the graveyard) by planting nails of iron on both sides of the road. Some months back after year 2000 many people saw that some part of the service road on Karsaz was dug up for maintenance on a sewer line... So, the nail had removed from there, and the spirit RETURNED BACK AGAIN....

She kept asking for people to help her while she was bleeding to death, she died that night. But she kept appearing on the road after that asking for people to help her to get home, She used to make them to go to her house which was known as the Laal kothi, she u make them to wait outside her house so that she can bring money. But after going in she never came out, people after waiting for her so long ring the bell of the house to ask for the money. But Her poor father always answer the door and tell the cab drivers or people that she died a long time back. She even caught in a cctv footage received by some nearby resident few year ago 2013 By GEO NEWS.

Back in the 1960’s a bride’s groom died on Dalmia Road, at the point that connects Karsaaz with Jauhar. Heartbroken, the bride passed away, immediately thereafter. They were on their way home from their wedding. It is said that the bride’s home was a (nearby) graveyard and that she still roams the area where her husband allegedly died – making the spot perpetually haunted.

Legend holds that if a traveler crosses her on Dalmia Road, she causes them to stop – appearing as a beautiful woman dressed in bridal red. She waves as if she needs a ride – but as you look at this beauty, maggots are seen on her face. People have also claimed that they have been chased by her screaming; but one thing everyone agrees on is that after dark, nobody should travel on Dalmia Road alone – because the bride still awaits her groom.

Another version of the Karsaaz ghost includes a reference to her house that is infamously known as Laal Kothi. This ghost was apparently a cabaret dancer back in the 60s who was raped and left to die in the area that we now know as Karsaaz. But to date, she continues to appear on the road – asking people to help her get back at mysterious haunted home: Laal Kothi. She reportedly makes her benefactor wait, so that she can bring money – but never comes out. So, when people eventually ring the doorbell to the house, asking about the girl – they are received by her elderly father, who will always say that she died a long time back.
